Oh my, this parka has it ALL!

After searching for days and days online for the perfect parka, I came across chicwish.com and saw this jacket - I couldn't be any happier and after reading the excellent reviews, I HAD to buy it!

The fur and inner lining of the jacket is so so soft. It looks exactly like it does in the pictures! I love how it is so customisable, and that I have to option of wearing it as a light coat (without fur+inner jaceket), or as a super warm and stylish parka for the cold months!

Delivery was super fast (I'm in Australia), and this jacket is perfect for the cooler months. Please don't size up. I don't know why everything was saying the size runs small, because it certainly doesn't. I am an AU size 6 in most clothes (52kg weight, 162cm) and the XS is still a tad big on me, but still fits reasonably well (considering I usually would buy an XXS). So just buy your normal coat size :)

It's good value for money and I know I will get plenty of wear from it!

Der Parka wurde sehr schnell geliefert und war sehr gut verpackt. Er hat eine schöne, intensivgrüne Farbe und weichen, abnehmbaren Pelzbesatz. Das Inlay + Pelz kann herausgenommen werden, wobei keine Knöpfe sichtbar sind.
Habe den Parka in S bestellt (trage 34/36) - Größe XS hätte wrsl auch gepasst, da der Parka meiner Meinung nach etwas größer ausfällt. (Posted on 4/6/13)

I ordered the jacket a month ago and wanted S but got M instead. I was very sad first because I thought I have to send it back after waiting for it. But when I put it on I couldnt help myself. This parka is definitely one of my favourite coats ever! I just received it in the mail this morning, but I've already worn it out. It will keep you fairly warm in cold weather, although I wouldn't call it a winter jacket. The fur is very soft. I thought the wrist cuffs were a bit too much so I've removed them. Everything else looks awesome to me.

Like the others, I was a bit worried about sizing after reading the reviews so I decided on the S rather than XS. For reference, I am 5'5 and 105lbs. I wear UK size 6/8.

The size I received was perfect. The style itself is slightly baggy, so those who are expecting a fitted jacket may want to consider that. However, with my arms down by my side, the S sleeves reaches just past my palms which I think is the perfect length. In terms of the fit, I can wear a thick sweater underneath and it'll be cozy. The XS would probably fit as well, although the sleeve length may be too short for my liking. While the zipper works, I had some difficulty getting it to come undone at times...I have to really line it up perfectly straight in order to pull them apart. There were a few loose threads here and there, but that's manageable.

It took awhile for the parka to be picked up for shipping, but once it was shipped, it got to my house very quickly. Overall, I love the jacket and I am very satisfied. (Posted on 2/27/13)

Wow, I bought this jacket based on the reviews. It didn't look that appealing to me online but I couldn't pass it up after reading all the great reviews.

My concerns on the jacket were the detachable fur cuffs. In the pictures I thought you could see the snap buttons on the sleeves when the fur was removed and I didn't like that because it looks weird having button holes just sitting on the outside of the sleeve, but it turns out they're secured with stretchy strings that attach to plastic buttons hidden on the INSIDE of the sleeve, so if you choose not to use the fur cuffs, you can't tell at all! Great :)

Also, the shearling lining is removable through buttons, so if you find the jacket too warm you can always remove the inside :)

Third, the waist has an adjustable string just like the bottom of the jacket, but the string is hidden inside the jacket. I thought maybe it wasn't adjustable, but it totally is :)

Fourth, I was concerned about the bottom front pockets. I thought they were too high up and it seemed like it would be uncomfortable to slip your hand inside, but it's actually not bad at all. Yes they are higher up than regular pockets but they are deep so your hand sits quite comfortably in them.

The only bad thing is it runs very LARGE. I bought an XS and almost thought maybe they sent me a wrong size, because it's huge on me, but it really is XS from the tag. I'm normally 34D bust, and this jacket has so much room/is huge if I button it up. I could probably add a bunch of sweaters underneath, and my chest would still not suffocate, lol. I'm 5' 1" 125 pounds for reference. I might try to take it to a tailor to bring it in but it seems it would be difficult. Definitely size down!

this jacket looks fantastic...
the arm fur things almost look like cheerleading pompons but it gives the whole jacket a new twist. i also had a great deal getting it for only 130 dollars which is nothing considered there's real fur parts on it.
unfortunately, there must have been a mistake with the hood because the green part of it is smaller than the lining part and the fur part so i can't really put the hood up. i guess this is just happening with mine, sadly.

I am writting this review firstly in order to confirm that the coat and the fur are as good as you can see in the picture and mostly because I got confused by several reviews saying that the size is smaller than normal-It's not!
I am a size S and I hesitated but I bought the S and maybe if I wore only light clothes inside I should have bought the XS- I am 1.60height and 55 kilos so please don't go up a size unless you already are between S and M in most of your other coats.
