Got a Date Mint Lace Dress

I am 5'7", 120lb and this dress fit great except for the length. It lands at mid-thigh which I thought was already borderline too short but then the last 3 inches are also just lace with nothing underneath. I bought it for a bridesmaid dress and it would have been extremely inappropriate had I worn it as it was. Thankfully I was able to lengthen it by adding another layer of lace at the bottom and adding fabric underneath the lace.
